Changing the text on the parent login screen

How to change the text on your Parent Login page.

Note: if you want to update the webpage title, that appears across the top of every page, please see Changing the look & feel including adding a logo.

  1. From your administrator homepage select System Settings > Login Settings.
  2. Under the Required Login Fields heading you have the option to select if a parent must enter an email address when they login to the system. This can be useful if you are missing some parent emails and would like to capture them. Any email address entered by a parent is stored in the parent record. 

The  Parent Login Custom Text section allows you to:

  • update the title that appears on the Parent Login screen. The default title on this screen is "Parents' Evening System" but feel free to change this.

  • update the text that appears under the title.

After making any changes click Update System Setting to save.

To check how the details will appear to parents, go to the top right of the page and click Logout. This takes you to the same page that your parents see when they go to login.
