Bromcom: How to set up Bromcom integration

This guide walks you through the setup and synchronisation of a system using our Bromcom integration.

What do I need to setup Bromcom integration?

You will need the following information:

  • Your Bromcom site ID
  • A Bromcom username and password (you may create one if you wish)
  • Your Bromcom server URL

How do I set up Bromcom integration for the first time?

When you log into your system you will see the Getting Started page - select the Bromcom option from the School Management System drop down box and follow the on-screen instructions.

How do I switch to Bromcom integration?

If you were previously synchronising using a different management system such as SIMS or iSAMS, you'll need to delete all data from your system. Please consult our  How do I clear the data held on my system? guide for information on how to do this. Then get in touch with us and we'll switch your system over to integrate with Bromcom.

How do I run a data synchronisation?

If you would like to re-run your sync with Bromcom,  go to the System Settings > Bromcom Sync section of the administrator panel and click the Run Now button. A progress bar will appear, showing you the progress of the sync.

How do I find out when the synchronisation was last run?

If you need to see the last time the sync was run, you can do this from the System Settings > Bromcom Sync page on the administrator panel. There you can see the date of the last synchronisation and if it was a success or failure.
